History
Robin graduated from a small high school in
Long Island, New York in 1983. Possessing a love of food, and
unsure of a career, she decided to attend the prestigious Johnson
and Wales University to learn the culinary arts and become well-versed
in the food industry.
In 1985, at the age of 20, she graduated from
Johnson and Wales and undertook a restaurant job. However, she
became frustrated by the lack of passion and love of healthy
and delicious foods that she experienced working in the restaurant
business. Robin’s entrepreneurial drive soon led her to start
"Delicious Creations" from her mother’s kitchen in
Bethpage, New York. This small startup company specialized in
delivering all-natural vegetarian health foods such as: veggie
burgers; vegetarian "nutri-wings"; chicken "nutri-nuggets";
vegetarian soups; spinach pies; and knishes. She recruited neighbors
and friends to help while her brother delivered products to
local health food stores on his bicycle.
Whether handwriting her company’s product labels
with babysitters and neighbors, prepping and cooking for the
lunch counters and juice bars of two busy health food stores
in her area, or creating a cookie recipe for wheat free and
dairy free oatmeal raisin cookies, she never compromised her
passion. Her oatmeal raisin cookie recipe helped transform "Delicious
Creations" into "Nutritious Creations," and in
1989 became the new company’s first healthy snack product --
a product which is still sold today.
While nurturing the early growth of Nutritious
Creations she gained the interest of a distributor from Ed Wolff
Natural Foods and they began carrying her company’s products,
forging a relationship that has continued until today.
Nutritious Creations grew steadily over the
next few years and progressively developed new cookie flavors
and expanded their healthy snack product line. Eventually these
baked products outweighed the vegetarian products and helped
Nutritious Creations branch out into a 1500 square foot industrial
kitchen located in Bay Shore, New York.
Today Nutritious Creations has expanded its
product line to over 30 varieties and several categories of
baked goods such as: Wheat free; Low fat; Sugar free; Low-carb;
High protein; High fiber; and All-natural. These products are
Kosher and are for allergy-sensitive or health-conscious people.
Most of the products on the low fat line are 3 points on the
Weight Watchers program.
Nutritious Creations is currently located in
an 8,000 square foot location and employs 20 people. Our products
and our facility are FDA approved and we take great pride in

packaging mandates.
The company sells a complete line of healthy
